3 MAINTENANCE
3.1 General guidelines
Maintenance shall be carried out to ensure the module’s fault-free performance and
instant readiness for use. The objects of maintenance are:
DIS Digital Desktop Call Station;
Cables suitable for the product.
Maintenance is performed by DIS maintenance personnel.
Maintenance is carried out once a year without the product being disconnected.
3.2 Safety precautions
The product provides safety for service personnel and meets the safety requirements
of Class III, set out in GOST IEC 61140-2012.
During maintenance, observe safety precautions according to general and local
“Occupation safety rules when operating electrical installation”.
3.3 Maintenance procedure
Maintenance includes as follows:
Inspect DIS enclosure visually, no mechanical damages (cracks, dents, etc.) on
the enclosure, cover, or controls are allowed;
Inspect cables attaching to DIS (it should not be squeezed and damaged);
Check reliability of connection to cable connectors – cables should not be
tensed;
Clean the DIS surface from dirt, for which you can use a damp sponge soaked
in a mild soapy solution, or wet wipes for cleaning office equipment; the use of
chemically active solvents is not allowed;
Carry out diagnostics of the DIS performance according to 3.4.
The approximate maintenance time is 0,5 hours.
All actions carried out on the product, defects found and negative findings of the
maintenance shall be recorded in the special logbooks.
