5.6.2 Apnoea alarm
A menu is provided for setting the apnoea alarm. Press the menu
key in the standby mode or therapy mode to display the menu.
Press 'Apnoea' to enter the setting mode. The label appears in reverse
video now, which means that the apnoea parameter can be adjusted. Set
the desired period of time by pressing the + and - fields.
You can reduce the period of time in a range from 60 to 20 seconds in steps
of 10 seconds. The apnoea alarm cannot be switched off.
Press the Menu key to save the selected apnoea alarm period. The standby
or therapy screen is displayed again.
5.6.3 P max
A menu is provided for setting the maximum airway pressure. To
access the menu, press the Menu key in the standby or therapy
mode, then select 'page 2'.
Press 'P max' to enter the setting mode. The label appears in reverse video
now, which means that the P max parameter can be adjusted. Set the
desired limit value by pressing the + and - fields. You can turn off the P max
value, or set an absolute pressure value in the range from 25 cmH
2
O to
5 cmH
2
O as the alarm limit or select 'Off' to disable monitoring of the lower
pressure. The default setting is 12 cmH
2
O.
