3.12.5

Multiplexed analog to digital converter

The UCB1200 incorporates a 10-bit successive approximation ADC. The ADC has a 
9-1 multiplexed input. The multiplexer is used to select between four switched resistive 
voltage divider inputs and the five touch screen inputs. 

The switched resistive inputs are connected to the DF13-style connector JP3 and are 
available for user assigned functions. These inputs have a typical full-scale range of 
7.5V (a maximum of 7.9V). 

The touch screen inputs are described in Touch screen controller on page 3-40.

Conversions are synchronized by signal 

UCB_ADCSYNC

. This is controlled by the IO9 

pin from the general purpose input/output block.
