IMAGING PIPELINE
WEB INTERFACE > ADVANCED SETUP > STREAM SETTINGS
Image capturing process is organized as a pipeline receiving images from the sensor, then
processing and buffering the images. There may be more than one pipeline: this mode of
operation is called Multi mode. The motivation behind Multi mode can be illustrated with the
following examples:
Provide a low-quality stream to display and store, and simultaneously a high-quality
stream for ANPR
in case of mixed (reflective and non-reflective) license plates, to provide two streams with
different intensity of illumination using Parity Flashing likewise
one ANPR (vehicle underexposed, license plate clearly visible) and one overview stream
(vehicle visible, license plate overexposed)
The primary and secondary imaging pipelines are configured in the
Stream Settings
section.
