This Quick Install Guide will help you get through the first few steps from opening the package till the first use of
the camera Web interface.

MOUNTING THE CAMERA:
1.1
By default, the camera is provided with a mobile (vehicle) bracket. By using this bracket, the camera can be mounted on a vehicle
roof rack or on a flat surface.
Additional accessories and mounting elements may be required depending on the actual vehicle.
1.2
The required tools for adjusting the bracket are the
followings:
(a)
Allen key (size 2.5 & 3); (tilt)
(b)
Wrench (depending on screw dimensions) to secure device in
desired rotation/position (rotation).
1.3
As a safety precaution, you may want to secure the camera with a cable
or steel wire rope through the
anchor hole
–
in case the mount
screws should, for any reason, let go. See camera side panel to find the anchor hole as shown in
the image (upper hole).
Secure mounting is the responsibility of the user.

CABLE CONNECTIONS AND POWER:
2.1
If you own a cable according to 1 (d) above, use the cable
to connect the camera and skip this point. To connect and
power the camera with a 3
rd
party cable and connector
please use the table below (suggested M12 A coded 8
contacts CAT6)
2.2
First, connect the cable to the camera and after that to
the POE+ connector
(It has to be an IEEE 802.3at
standard).
2.3
After a successful connection and power up, the camera will boot and a red indicator
LED in the front of the camera will show up. After a few seconds, the red light turns
off, and a green LED blinks two times, which means that the camera is ready for use.
2.4
Connect your PC to the same network
