Remove air filter cover.
•
Remove the air filter from the foam.
•
Wash the air filter in lukewarm soapy water. Do not blow out the dirt, there is a risk of eye
injury!
•
Clean the air filter interior with a brush.
•
Allow the air filter to dry thoroughly and reinsert it.
•
Replace the air filter cover.
8.4 Maintenance every 10- 15 operating hours
Replace or check spark plug:
•
Do not touch the spark plug or spark plug connector while the engine is running.
•
High voltage! Risk of burns when the engine is hot. Wear protective gloves!
•
Check the spark plug and the distance between the electrodes regularly.
To do so, proceed as follows:
•
Disconnect the spark plug connector from the spark plug.
•
Unscrew the spark plug using the spark plug wrench supplied.
•
The distance between the electrodes should be between 0.3 and 0.4 mm.
•
Clean the spark plug if it is dirty.
Replace the spark plug:
-
if the insulation body is damaged.
-
in case of strong burn-off of the electrodes.
-
for heavily soiled or oily electrodes.
- every month with regular operation.
8.5 Maintenance every 50 operating hours
Change or check fuel filter:
•
Check the fuel filter if necessary. A dirty fuel filter will obstruct the fuel supply.
•
Open the fuel filler cap and pull the fuel filter through the tank with a wire hook.

light soiling

Remove the fuel filter from the fuel line and clean the filter with cleaning
gasoline.

heavy soiling
➜
replace the petrol filter
Attention:
•
Allow the engine to cool down before servicing the spark plug!
•
Incorrect installation of the spark plug can lead to serious engine damage.
