Checking the power pack and the 12V battery and charging
1. Turn key to position ”ON”.
2. Wait until the dash shows the 12V battery
voltage. If the voltage is 12.6V or over the
battery is properly charged. If the voltage is
under 11.4V the battery should be changed to
ensure the reliability.
3. Plug in the charger cable.
4. Charge the batteries until the SOC is 95 or higher.
5. Turn the key to position ”OFF” and disengage the charger cable. After five
minutes recheck the 12V battery voltage to ensure that the voltage is 12.6V or
higher. If not, continue charging.
Changing the 12V system battery.
The 12V system battery may be changed by the operator. Changing does not
require special expertise or tools.
1. Ensure the key is turned to ”OFF” position and the charger cable is not
attached.
2. Open the left side panel.
3. Open the battery container by opening 4 screws.
4. Remove fuse F2.1.
5. Remove the battery shoes from the battery.
6. Remove the battery holders.
7. Remove the battery and replace in opposite order.
