Foreword
Thank You for choosing the eSled snowmobile!
This model of the eSled snowmobile is
equipped with a remote telemetry system for
data logging purposes. The collected data
includes but does not limit to GPS information.
The GPS information along with energy
consumption, weather data and the like are
used for further product development,
troubleshooting and the marketing only. None
of the data with crucial personal information
will ever be distributed to any party to provide
You a complete privacy.
Please note that the electric snowmobile may
differ from conventional snowmobiles in a
term of throttle control. Thus the driver should
get known with the vehicle before taking it to
trails.
To reverse the reverse button on the left
handle must be held down continuously. This
is due to immediate throttle response which
might push the driver towards the throttle
switch.
As an electric vehicle is silent, it may remain
unnoticed from others. Therefore beware and
warn the environment.
Like an internal combustion engine, an electric
motor does not choke shut if the required
torque cannot be produced. Therefore it is
important NOT to keep pressing the throttle
switch while the handbrake is on or if the
snowmobile is completely stuck and the track
does not slip. Prolonged action may damage
the motor.
Due to higher energy efficiency the
convenience features have a bigger role in a
total consumption. The use of the heaters may,
in very slow and cyclic situation, shorten the
range for up to 10%.
It is important to follow the maintenance
schedule strictly to ensure a long lifespan. This
includes the monthly storage maintenance.
Never try to service power pack yourself.
Maintenance may be done by trained person
only. Improper handling may be life-
threatening.
This guide might not include every
troubleshooting situation or maintenance
procedures needed in daily use. We are eager
to help and update this guide if necessary.
