Checking the coolant level (Prowler)
Check coolant level before every ride, as follows:
1. Open the bonnet.
2. At the compensation tank, if there is one, check if the coolant level is between the
MIN and MAX marks.
3. Close the bonnet.
7.3
Checking the engine oil level
The engine oil level is read on the oil dipstick (1). The engine oil level shall be within
the ribbed surface (2).
7.3.1
Checking the engine oil level (Wildcat)
Check engine oil level before every ride,
as follows:
1. Unscrew oil dipstick (1) from the
engine housing and wipe with a clean
cloth.
2. Screw oil dipstick (1) into the engine
housing.
3. Unscrew oil dipstick (1) from the
engine housing and read engine oil
level on the oil dipstick (1).

NOTE
The cooler is installed underneath the bonnet.
NOTE
If the coolant level is too low, do not drive the vehicle any more, and have
the coolant refilled at an authorised Arctic Cat specialist repair shop.
NOTE
Park the vehicle on level ground to check the oil level.
CAUTION
The exhaust system may be hot. Do not touch the exhaust system while
unscrewing the oil dipstick.
