Setting the clock:
1. Move ignition key to ON position.
2. Press "M" button (Modus) (3) repeatedly until the clock or the operating hours
counter (1) is displayed.
3. If required, press "S" button (setting/reset button) (4) to select the clock display.
4. For setting the hour display, press "S" button (4) repeatedly until the minute dis-
play stops counting and the hour display shows the desired hour.
5. Release "S" button (4).
6. For setting the minute display, press "S" button (4) repeatedly until the desired
number of minutes is displayed.
Temperature indicator
(2) - If the coolant temperature exceeds the normal operating
range, the temperature icon starts flashing and the gauge display goes out for 30 sec-
onds. Thereafter, the gauge display returns to the normal operation mode. The tem-
perature icon continues flashing.
NOTE
The time of day memory is checked and reset during start-up of the gauge.
If the power supply of the time of day memory fails (e.g. in case of defective
fuse) the display will flash until the power supply of the time of day memory
is restored. If the display is flashing: check 15 A fuse.
NOTE
The operating hours counter starts only after an engine speed of more than
500 rpm is reached.
