Discharge the water inside the machine after main washing step is finished. (If
additional water is taken without discharging water, foam overflow will occur.)
o
Movement in discharging 80 rpm
– 12 s on – 10 s off)

Wait 2 sec.

Intake water by time. (10 s; may vary according to control systems.)

Wash for 5 min. in woolen washing percentage. (to extinguish foam)

Movement 30 rpm
– 3 s on – 80 s off)

Discharge the water and continue with main wash end spin.

– 12 s on – 10 s off)
7.4. Foam Detecting and Extinguishing Algorithm
If foaming occurred in the machine is determined by water level check during spin; if
foam occurred, profile is applied to extinguish and discharge.

If the measured level is higher than the determined foam level;
o
Motor is stopped for 280 s, (motionless waiting)
o
Water is taken for 4 s,
o
Motor is stopped for 30 s, (motionless waiting)
o
Psafety 4 + 6 s pumping performed.
o
Water is taken for 4 s,
o
Motor is stopped for 30 s, (motionless waiting)
o
Psafety 4 + 6 s pumping performed.
o
Water is taken for 4 s,
o
Motor is stopped for 30 s, (motionless waiting)
o
Psafety 4 + 6 s pumping performed.
o
Spinning starts again.

This control is repeated 3 time in each spin.

If the foam level is still high at the end of all 3 trials, spin is skipped to switch to
the next step.

Extra rinse is determined according to the number of foam detecting.
o
If 1-2-3, 1 rinse,
o
If 4-5, 2 rinses,
o
If more than 5, 3 rinses are added.

If the foam level is still high after trying 3 times in the last spin step,
programme is finished without spinning.
