Parallel Mode
This section describes how a pair of 350AH1A amplifiers may be used in a parallel configuration. A parallel
configuration allows for more current to be delivered into a common load by using two or more amplifiers
operating together in phase. A block diagram of a typical set-up is shown in Figure 2-6,

Level Setting
Set all of the amplifiers PHASE to either 180 degrees or 0 degrees by pressing the
PHASE
buttons. Place all
units in the RF ON mode by pressing the
RF ON/OFF
button. Adjust the RF Generator output to reach the
desired output level.
CAUTION:
Do not connect or disconnect any loads or cables from the amplifier’s RF
Output when the amplifier is in the Operate mode. Dangerous voltages
that could cause serious injury to the user exist at the RF Output when the
amplifier is under power.
