A62 Dual Directional Coupler
The 63 dB Dual Directional Coupler is connected to the output of the 4-way combiner. The coupler monitors
the forward and reflected power. A separate set of isolated coupler ports provide the forward and reverse sample
ports.
3.3 POWER SUPPLIES (PS1 THROUGH PS9)
PS1 is a multiple output supply. +5V and -15V is fed to the A80 and A81 Regulator Assemblies. The Regulator
Assemblies supplies -5V, -12V and +15V to the A1 Preamplifier. The Regulator assemblies also supply -8V to
(Terminal Blocks) TB1, B2, TB4 and TB7. A80 and A81 also provide on /off voltages to PS3 through PS9.-
5V and -12Vis also supplied to the A1 Pre-Amplifier.
PS2 is a single output supply that supplies -15V to the A81 Regulator Board.
PS3 is a single output supply. The main +24.0 volts DC supplies voltage to the Terminal Blocks to power Fan
assemblies B1 through B68.
PS4 is a single output supply. The main +24.0 volts DC supplies voltage to the Drain FETs in the
A3, A5, A6
Quad amplifiers. Voltage is also supplied to A80 Reg Assy.
PS5 is a single output supply. The main +24 volts DC supplies voltage to the Drain FETs in Quad modules
A9-16.
PS6 is a single output supply. The main +24 volts DC supplies voltage to the Drain FETs in Quad modules
A25-32.
PS7 is a single output supply. The main +24 volts DC supplies voltage to the Drain FETs in Quad modules
A33-40.
PS8 is a single output supply. The main +24 volts DC supplies voltage to the Drain FETs in Quad modules
A41-48.
PS9 is a single output supply. The main +24 volts DC supplies voltage to the Drain FETs in Quad modules
A49-56.

A64A2, A65, A66, A67 and A68 Control/Fault Boards
The A64A2, A65, A66, A67 and A68 Control/Fault boards consists of one 16-bit microcontrollers and several
other ICs that monitor and indicate the status of the amplifier. Power is supplied using only a single 5-volt
