10. TROUBLE
Here are some useful tips to help you diagnose and solve some common problems.
10.1.
Level of protection against water
Caution
: The levels of protection against water of the device differ according to the zones in which the
product is located. See the following diagram:
Note: The dimensions of the measured area are limited by the walls and fixed partitions. Figure above:
Zone dimensions for swimming pools and ponds.
10.2.
Safety and declarations
●
An additional local equipotential bonding must connect all external conductive elements in zones
0, 1 and 2 (diagram in the previous point) with protective conductors of all exposed conductive
elements located in these zones.
●
Protective measures by a non-conductive location and by an equipotent bond without
connection to earth are not permitted.
●
Junction boxes must not be installed in zones 0 and 1, except in zone 1 (diagram in the previous
point), with safety extra-low voltage circuits.
●
The electrical equipment must have at least the following protection indices:
○
In zone 0 (diagram in the previous point): IPX8.
○
In zone 1 (diagram of the previous point): IPX5.
●
In zones 0 and 1 (diagram in the previous point), no coupling device or accessory must be
installed.
●
The transformer must be located outside zone 1 (diagram of the previous point).
