6.6. SDI-12 Device Address

The LeveLine

®

 is assigned an SDI-12 device address, which is a single character from the

set “0”-“9”, “A”-“Z” & “a”-“z”. A LeveLine

®

 will only respond to commands beginning with its

assigned device address or with the wild card address “?”.

The LeveLine's device address has a factory default value of “0”, and can be set to a
different value by a Change Address command.

6.7. SDI-12 Unit Identification

In its response to a Send Identification command, the LeveLine

®

  will report compatibility

with SDI-12 version 1.3, the vendor ID “AQUAREAD”, the device model ID “LVLINE”, and
the LeveLine's firmware revision number and serial number.
