Explanation
Flushing
the quartz
sand
The quartz sand has to be washed out when refilling.
1.
6-way valve
(10)
in the "RINSE" position
Switch the filter pump on
2. Following the start-up of the pump, run water into
the container and sewage system for
approx. 30 sec
3. 6-way valve
(10)
in the "BACKWASH" position
Switch the filter pump on
4. Channel the water into the waste water system for
approx. 2 min. This ensures that quartz sand grit
does not flow into the pool through the nozzle.
5.
Finally set the valve to "RINSE" for 30 sec
Note:
Too much sand in the filter or too high a pump
performance can lead to losing sand via the sewage
system.
Cleaning the
pre-filter
Building dirt or debris have collected in the pre-filter.
Clean the strainer basket of the pump approx. 10
to 15 min after the initial start-up
Filter -
operation
Set the handle of the valve to "FILTER"
Filter is ready for mechanical water treatment
Switch the filter pump on
Setting the
filter time
The operating time of the filter depends on the
pool volume, frequency of use, weather and
chemicals
Circulate once to twice per 24 hr, e.g.: Pool
volume: 10 m³, should be circulated twice,
meaning that 20 m³ has to be pumped. The pump
capacity is approx. 6 m³ per hour, so the filter has
to run for approx. 3 hr
Take the output of the supplied pump into
consideration
In order to achieve sufficient disinfection on hot
days the filter time has to be increased
Also run the pump on rainy days
