Purchasing PPV Programs
Purchasing Programs From PPV Channels
Cable companies provide designated PPV channels where you can buy PPV programs. PPV
channels show announcements and teasers for the channel’s PPV programs. The procedure
below describes how you purchase a program directly from PPV channels.
To purchase from PPV channels
9 The program guide displays, showing the PPV program in yellow with timer symbol.
This indicates you have purchased the program. A minute before the program, you are
notified that the program is about to start.
Note: If you have set a VCR timer, make sure that there is a recordable tape in your VCR
and it is turned on.
1 Select the PPV channel offering the program you want to purchase. You can do this via
the program guide or by browsing through the channels.
2 You may see a message informing you that the
PPV channel is locked by parental control.
• If you do not see this message, proceed to
the next step.
• If you see this message, first press the
SELECT button to turn off locking and at
the next display, enter your 4-digit PIN
number. For additional information on
parental control, refer to Unlocking
Parental Control on page 136. Proceed to
the next step.
