There are two types of crankshaft for each bearing:
•
4 - 5 for flywheel side;
•
7 - 8 for clutch side.
The category type is stamped on one crankshaft
counterweight.
NOTE
THE SHAFT MAY HAVE TWO DIFFERENT
CLASSES ON THE TWO BEARINGS.

Crankcase category
Crankcase can be selected from two types (A or
B) according to the centre to centre distance be-
tween the primary reduction gears.
The category can be checked out on clutch-side
crankcase half, at the back.
NOTE
SHOULD THE CRANKCASE BE REPLACED,
THIS IS SUPPLIED WITH THE PRIMARY RE-
DUCTION GEAR ALREADY COUPLED.
