AIR CLEANER

Carefully read p. 2 (GENERAL SAFETY RULES).
Clean and check of the air filter should be checked
monthly or every 3,000 Km (1,875 mi), depending on
the conditions in which the vehicle is used.
If it is used on dusty or wet roads, cleaning and
replacement operations must be carried out more
frequently.
To clean the filtering element it is necessary to remove it
from the vehicle.
REMOVAL THE AIR FILTER

Place the vehicle on the center stand.
♦
Unscrew and remove the six screws (1).
♦
Remove the air filter cover (2).
♦
Remove the filter element (3).
CLEANING
Do not use petrol or inflammable solvents to wash
the filtering element, in order to avoid fires or explo-
sions.
♦
Wash the filtering element (3) with clean, non-inflamma-
ble solvents or solvents with high volatility point, then let
it dry thoroughly.
♦
Apply a filter oil on the whole surface.
