REAR WHEEL
The disassembly and reassem-
bly of the rear wheel may be dif-
ficult for unskilled operators. If
necessary, contact an Official Dealer

If you want to perform these operations
personally, keep to the following in-
structions.
Carefully read p. 39 (MAINTENANCE).
Before carrying out the following opera-
tions, let the engine and the silencer
cool down until they reach room tem-
perature, in order to avoid burns.
While disassembling and reassembling
the wheel, be careful not to damage the
brake pipe, the disc and the pads.
For the disassembly and reassembly,
use gloves in order to protect your
hands and fingers properly.
DISASSEMBLY

Position the vehicle on the stand.
◆
Unscrew and remove the three screws
(1), taking the relevant nuts.
◆
Remove the chain casing (2).
◆
Lock the rotation of the wheel pin (3) by
means of the appropriate spanner.
◆
Loosen the wheel nut (4) .
Wheel nut (4) driving torque:
80 Nm (8 kgm).

tightening the wheel nut (4),
check the chain tension, see p.
48 (DRIVE CHAIN).

Unscrew and remove the screw (5),
together with the washer.
Screw (5) driving torque:
5 Nm (0,5 kgm).
Due to the weight and dimen-
sions of the vehicle, the follow-
ing operation cannot be per-
formed by one person only.
Proceed with care and make sure that
you can support the weight of the vehi-
cle.
Weight of the vehicle (ready for
starting): 129 kg.

Raise the rear part of the vehicle, have a
suitable support (6) (the height of which
should be 400 mm) placed under the en-
gine, so that the rear wheel can rotate
freely and the vehicle cannot fall down.
