•

Repeatedly act on the clutch lever for

its complete stroke, so to put the sys-

tem under pressure and drain out the

air in it towards the bleed screw.

•

Keep the clutch lever pressed and at

the same time unscrew the bleed

screw. It is noted that the oil mixed with

air comes out the pipe connected to the

draining.

•

Screw the bleed screw and THEN re-

lease the clutch lever.

•

Repeat the operation until there is no

more air inside the circuit.

CAUTION

DURING THE BLEEDING OPERATIONS OF THE CLUTCH
CIRCUIT, PAY ALWAYS ATTENTION TO THE BRAKE FLU-
ID LEVEL IN THE PUMP TANK. IF THE LEVEL IS NOT
SUFFICIENT, NEW AIR WILL ENTER THE CIRCUIT AGAIN.
THEREFORE IT IS IMPORTANT TO PERIODICALLY RE-
FILL THE FLUID AND KEEPING A CORRECT LEVEL IN-
SIDE THE TANK.

Removing the clutch master cylinder

•

Carry out the removal of the left handg-

uard.

•

Carry out the removal of the left mirror.

•

Undo the fixing screw (1) of the clutch

lever as indicated in the figure and re-

move it.

•

Loosen and remove the screw (2) and

remove the cable (3).

•

Unscrew and remove the two screws

(4) and remove the U-bolt (5).
