CHART), according to the displacement of
the vehicle.
Periodically check for the following:
u
Keep the front brake lever pulled in and
push down on the handlebar repeatedly
to compress the front fork.
u
The fork should compress in a smooth
movement and must show no traces of
oil on the legs.
u
Ensure that all components are properly
tightened and check the front and rear
suspension articulated joints for correct
operation.

In the event of malfunction or if the
suspension needs expert servicing,

ADJUSTING THE REAR
SUSPENSION
The rear suspension consists of a double
effect shock absorber (compression/rebound
damping) fixed to the engine by means of a
silentblock.
The standard adjustment, set by the
manufacturer, is suitable for a rider weighing
about 70 kg. If your weight and needs are
different, adjust the ring nut (1), thus setting
the ideal travelling conditions (see table).

d o u b l e e f f e c t s h o c k a b s o r b e r s
(compression/rebound damping) fixed to
the engine by means of a silentblock.
The standard adjustment, set by the
manufacturer, is suitable for a rider
weighing about 70 kg. If your weight and
needs are different, adjust the ring nut (1)
with the appropriate spanner provided in
the tool kit, thus setting the ideal travelling
conditions (see table).
CAUTION
Adjust both shock absorbers to the
same setting.
