SOLAR WATER WIGGLER

Item # 8WW

302578

*Illustrations may not exactly match your unit.

The Solar Water Wiggler uses a new, high
efficiency, solar cell to power the Water Wiggler.
The solar cell runs the motor during the day and
stores enough energy in a rechargeable battery
to run the motor during the nighttime hours.
Always place the bird bath and Solar Water
Wiggler in full sunlight.

PRECAUTIONS

1. Do not operate the unit without the gasket in

place between the dome and the base.

2. Do not immerse the body of the unit or allow it

to tip over in the water.

3. Keep material such as algae, twigs, or leaves

from attaching to the stirrer, as these items
will cause the motor to work harder, greatly
reducing battery life.

4. Always keep the water level at least ¼" below

the plastic base.

5. If water should get inside the unit, remove the

dome and carefully dry the inside.

6. When the Solar Water Wiggler is to be stored,

remove the dome and disconnect the solar
battery.  Leaving the battery attached may
damage the battery during storage. Replace
dome.

Note:

This unit will not keep the water from

freezing.  Remove the batteries and store during
the winter.

IMPORTANT

The bottom of the Solar Water Wiggler should
remain at least ¼” above the water at all
times. During a heavy rain, the bird bath  may
completely  fill with water. To avoid flooding the
unit, place the unit in the deepest part of the
bath and then place a straight-edge across the
rim of the bath. The bottom of the Solar Water
Wiggler should be
at least ¼” above
the bottom of the
straight-edge (figure
3). If it is not, raise
the unit by placing
a stable and level
support under the
Solar Water Wiggler.

DIRECTIONS

1. Remove the assembly parts from the plastic

bag and insert the three “U” shaped legs into
the base of the unit (see figure 1).

2. Attach the stirrer to the motor by pressing

the center hole of the stirrer crossbar onto
the motor shaft
extending from
the center of the
base (figure 1).

3. Set the unit

upright on its
legs and remove
the dome by
unscrewing
counterclockwise.

4. Install the solar

battery found
in the box by
inserting the
connector in the
Wiggler into the
connector on
the solar battery
(figure 2). The
stirrer should start to turn when the solar
battery is connected. The solar battery should
be placed under the tab extending from the
center post by carefully lifting the tab with
your thumb and sliding the battery under the
tab into the battery cavity.

5. Replace the dome by screwing onto the

base in a clockwise direction until the dome
is snugly seated.  Make sure the gasket is
in place before attaching the dome. If the
maximum high-water level (simulated by the
straight- edge placed across the bird bath) is
more than

” from the plastic bottom of the

Water Wiggler, simply place the unit in the
center of your bath and it is ready to operate.

REPLACEMENT OF

STIRRING FLOATS

Float replacement (extra floats are located inside
your Water Wiggler).
1. Remove stirrer assembly from the bottom of

the Water Wiggler.

2. Pull the wire guide out of the plastic crossbar.
3. Remove the old floats and place the new floats

on the wire guide (see drawing for orientation).

3. Insert the wire guide back into the crossbar

(center hole faces away from the floats).

4. Make sure the wire guide does not protrude

past the top edge of the crossbar, and then
remount the stirrer to the Water Wiggler.
