Set bandwidth threshold per port
In the Bandwidth Thresholds Settings dialog box for each port, the upper and lower limits for
individual ports on any I

blade installed in a chassis can be set or adjusted. This
threshold produces a warning or an alarm if bandwidth exceeds or drops below the specified
setting.

To adjust bandwidth thresholds for an individual port:
1. Go to W
EB
XR and click the soft arrow for the Global View icon. From the pop-up menu,
select Ports.
2. On the Ports page, select a port and click the soft arrow.
3. From the pop-up menu, select Port Properties.
4. Go to the Set Bandwidth Thresholds section.
5. Verify that the Enable Upper Limits checkbox is selected; this is the default setting to
enable the upper-limit warning and alarm.
6. Enter the limits to use for warnings and alarms. Limits are a percentage of rated
bandwidth for the port; for example, 10 percent is 1G for a 10G port.
7. (Optional) Click the Enable Lower Limits checkbox to enable the lower-limit warning and
alarm, and enter the limits to use.
8. Click

The Paired Ports switch is used to pair Appliance ports or the additional I

To pair/unpair an appliance port:
1. Go to W

XR and click the soft arrow for the Global View icon. From the pop-up menu,
select Ports.

port to pair or unpair
and select Port Properties.
NOTE
Individual port-specific settings override global (blade-wide) bandwidth threshold
settings.
