Chapter 8: Temperature Settings
Temperature Curve: How it Works
The controller can automatically adjust the target room temperature (day setpoint) over time by using a
curve.
A curve is composed of 10 points. Each point specifies a day number and a temperature setpoint for that
day (the day number refers to the animal age). Once the curve is activated, the controller changes the set-
point every hour in a linear fashion between consecutive points of the curve. When the last point is
reached, the controller keeps using the temperature setpoint associated to that day.
The following restrictions apply to reduce the risk of error:
• The highest possible day number is 450.
• Decreasing day numbers are not allowed.
• All ten points must be entered. If you don’t need all ten steps, repeat the last temperature for each
unnecessary points.
NOTE: The temperature curve must be turned off to adjust the points and days of the temperature
curve.
Modifying Curve Points
You can adjust the temperature setpoints of the curve points while the curve is enabled.
1. Using the menu select arrow keys, navigate to Setpoint / Curve→Curve Offset .
NOTE: This menu is only accessible when the temperature curve is enabled.
2. Adjust the curve offset by adjusting the number of degrees that need to be added or removed to the
temperature curve setpoints.
Using the Temperature Curve
1. Using the menu select arrow keys, navigate to Set Point / Curve→Curve .
2. Press the down arrow key to select the first point of the curve.
3. Set the following parameters:
