Bottom Panel
The bottom panel of the unit contains the model/serial
number label for the mainframe.

Top Connector Panel
The top connector panel of the unit contains the
measurement port used to connect optical fiber to the unit for
Power Meter and Fault Locate testing, as well as USB ports
for uploading and downloading files. The DC power
connection and Battery Status LED are also located on the
top panel.
The VFL port is available on units equipped with the Visual
Fault Locator option.
Figure 2-5 on page 2-11 provides an example of a typical
unit’s top panel.
