Note
Only use the Ni-MH battery pack supplied by
Anritsu for the Network Master. Anritsu does not
guarantee the safety and functionality of other
Ni-MH battery packs.
•
Replaceable batteries:
In absence of either the AC
charger/adapter or the rechargeable Ni-MH battery
pack, the unit can be powered by using 4 AA
Ni-MH batteries.
Installing the Ni-MH battery pack
CAUTION
!
Use the following procedure to install the Ni-MH
battery pack.
1.
If operating, power down the unit.
2.
Open the battery compartment (see Figure 2-2 on
page 2-6 for location) by pulling down on the latch
while lifting up on the battery compartment cover.
3.
Remove the 4 AA Ni-MH batteries, if installed.
4.
Plug the connector on the Ni-MH battery pack into
the receptacle located next to the module release
latch (white plastic latch in the battery
compartment). See Figure 2-3 on page 2-8.
5.
Slide the Ni-MH battery pack into the battery
compartment making sure that the battery release
pull (red ribbon) is tucked underneath, but with
enough of the release pull exposed so it can be used
when removing the battery pack. Also make sure
that the
THIS SIDE UP
label is visible.
6.
Replace the battery compartment cover.
