Utility DVM Adjustment
This adjustment improves the accuracy of the internal DVM, which monitors internal system voltages. Since
the DVM does not control instrument operations, this adjustment is considered optional if the unit appears to
be operating normally. Perform this calibration if error messages regarding internal system voltages appear,
or if the A4 PCB has been replaced.
Required Equipment

Procedure
Adjust the internal DVM circuitry as follows:
1.
Power on the MG3702XA and allow the unit to warm up for 1 hour.
2.
Preset the unit by pressing the
Preset
hard key.
3.
Press
SYSTEM | Maint |
12345 | Enter
| Calibration | Utility.
4.
Press
DVM | Run Cal | Next.
The +10 V and –10 V values are displayed on the screen.
5.
Press
Next.
6.
Press
Save to Nonvolatil
e.
7.
Choose
Yes
to overwrite existing values.
8.
The adjustment is complete, record as completed in the test record.
