7.1 Self Diagnostics
Self Diagnostics is an application that can verify whether the Network
Master Gigabit Ethernet module hardware is working properly.
Self Diagnostics is a separate application and can only be accessed from
the Top Menu. Therefore if an application is running it must be stopped
first by returning to the Top Menu.
Do the following to start the Self Diagnostics application:
1. Navigate to the Top Menu by powering on the Network Master or
return from the currently running application.
2. Highlight the Self Diagnostics button and press the Set key.
7.1.1 Starting and Stopping Self Diagnostics
To start Self Diagnostics:
1. Highlight the Start button at the Self Diagnostics screen and press
the Set key, or press the Start key.

While Self Diagnostics is running, the text on the Start button changes to
Stop
.
To stop Self Diagnostics:
1. Highlight the Stop button at the Self Diagnostics screen and press
the Set key, or press the Start key.
7.1.2 Progress Bar
When Self Diagnostics is running, a progress bar indicates progress of
the tests towards completion.
