2 

Before Use 

2.8.2 Removing Optical Transceiver 

1.  Set the optical output of the optical transceiver to OFF. 
2.  Turn off the signal input to the Tx Data In connector. 
3.  Disconnect the optical fiber from the optical transceiver. 
4.  Tilt the optical transceiver lever towards you. 
5.  Pull the optical transceiver out by the lever. 

 

 
Note: 

The optical transceiver cannot be detached without tilting the lever 
towards you.
