BUTTON GIZMO
Preliminary User Guide
Thanks for purchasing the Angry Audio Button Gizmo. We are grateful! The user guide is in the queue
and should be ready sometime in the next few months. Meantime, here are some operating notes to help
you enjoy your gizmo.
The Button Gizmo uses the same size cutout as the Mic Tally Gizmo. Please use the template and
instructions from the Mic Tally Gizmo User Guide:
The Button Gizmo is intended to plug into a GPIO port on a radio broadcast console. Various
manufacturers use different pin-outs and logic signals. Consult your console manual for details. If you get
stuck, give us a shout. We love this stuff. We’ll happily help you get things sorted.
If you have an Axia console, you are in luck. The Button Gizmo is designed to plug-and-play as a Guest
Mic Control Panel into an Axia console. You’ll need one available GPIO port for each Button Gizmo.
Included in the package is a DB15M to RJ45F adapter, prewired for Guest Mic logic. Install your Button
Gizmo, plug this adapter into the GPIO port, use a standard CAT5 cable to connect between them and
you’re in business.
