Continuing a bale row:
-
Repeat the same steps as for beginning a bale row, except that you have to start
the bale wrapper hoop just before the bales begin to move onto the bale wrapper.
Number of Layers of Plastic
You can adjust the number of layers of plastic film that will be wrapped around the bales by
changing the running speed of the Honda engine. Before changing the running speed of the
Honda engine:
-
Adjust the running speed of the tractor engine. The running speed must always be
constant while bale wrapping.
-
Adjust the flow of the hydraulic control valve that powers the conveyor. The speed
of the conveyor must always be constant while bale wrapping to ensure that the
number of plastic film layers stays constant.
Trailer Steering System
The Wraptor is equipped with an axle-mounted steering gear to allow you to correct your
course while bale wrapping. The control lever controls the axle. When you uncouple the trailer
from the bale wrapper, you must put the axle back into aligned position by holding down the 0
button of the control lever for 3 seconds (see
Erreur ! Source du renvoi introuvable.
).
Decoupling from the Bale Wrapper
-
Raise the trailer, moving forward slightly.
-
Move back enough to free the bale wrapper from the path of the trailer.
-
Turn off the bale wrapper engine with the remote control.
-
Reposition the trailer behind the tractor.
-
Do not forget to realign the axle.
Finishing a Continuous Bale Row
To finish wrapping the bales that are on the bale wrapper and place them on the ground,
perform the following steps:
-
When the conveyor on the trailer is empty, move the conveyor pusher back to the
yellow marking (on the left on the bale guide).
-
Stop the tractor and remove the ignition key before climbing onto the trailer.
-
Insert the rear part of the unloading post inside the square tube of the pusher.
-
Install the front part of the unloading post in the rear part and bolt in place.
-
Install the pusher plate in the front part of the unloading post and bolt in place.
-
Insert the front end of the assembled unloading post in the center of the bale.
-
Install the attachment bolt in the rear part of the unloading post to secure the
unloading post to the pusher.
-
Operate the conveyor and the hoop until all the bales have passed through the
hoop. Stop the conveyor when the end of the last bale is centered between the
plastic film rolls. Let the hoop turn so that the plastic covers the vertical side of the
bale (Figure 7.1).
