Situation

Your mixture contains three or more silage

Put the JORDAN knife (6) the furthest from the
centre of the auger.

Your mixture contains one or two silage bales.

Put the JORDAN knife (6) the closest to the
centre of the auger.

The mixing time does not matter or you have
little material to cut.

Remove knives 2, 4, 6 and 8 on both augers.

For triple-auger mixers, the knives can be configured three ways (see Table 11 and Figure 36).
