Diagnosis: If you have already tested the manual lever (by putting the machine in Manual
function on the Danfoss control and then going to the levers on the side of the trailer) ,
and then through the Danfoss control you are able in “manual mode” to move some
function but not all, it mean the security valve is working and you should go to next page
for solenoid diagnosis.
If you are not able to run any function directly from the levers of
the valve, then follow the procedure below:
▪
Security Valve diagnosis
▪
To verify if the security valve work, you need to:
▪
Kept Danfoss touchscreen connected to the RBMPRO and powered on
▪
Engage hydraulic flow from the tractor to the RBMPRO
▪
Then disconnect the wire supplying 12V power, and use a voltmeter
and check if you have power coming out.
▪
If you have power, check the Pressure gage. You shall have 500
PSI (34 bar) when no hydraulic function are activated. If there is
no pressure, adjust the screw located on top of the pressure
reducer valve till it is set correctly.
▪
If you don’t have power to the security valve, than it mean that
hydraulic pressure condition to unlock the security valve are not
met.
▪
There is 2 hydraulic pressure sensor install, each of them on the pressurized line
supplying oil to the system, and one on the return line to the tank.
▪
Disconnect each connector supplying 12V to those sensor, and use a
voltmeter to check if you have power coming out of them. There should be
12V at all time. If you don’t have voltage, then you have a bad wire
connection on this specific cable.
▪
When condition are met, sensor are allowing the computer to send 12V to
the security valve, which will let then the hydraulic flow circulating through
the main valve. Condition required are as follow:
▪
Hydraulic pressure sensor « P » on the pressurised hydraulic line must
read pressure
above
200 PSI (14 bar)
▪
Hydraulic pressure sensor « T » on the return hydraulic line to the tank
must read pressure
below
1000 PSI (70 bar)
▪
If condition are met, but you dont have 12V power supplied to the
Security valve, then check for wire bad connection supplying power to
the security valve, and if needed replace hydraulic pressure sensor as
they may be defective.
▪
If everything above work like described, than you have a solenoid problem which
you can diagnose at the next page.
