Operator's Manual – Self-Loading Bale Carrier

Anderson Group

When reassembling, apply a thin coat of grease to all contact surfaces (cams, anchor points,
bushings...), being careful to avoid getting grease on the drums and shoe linings.

For brakes with a centre the shoes before

1. Once the hub/drum/brake assembly has been reassembled, slacken the nut slightly and

engage the brake in the correct direction (the direction of the cylinder stroke) by manually
pulling the lever.

NOTE:

To make it easier, you can put a tube handle on the lever
Figure 52). The shoes will then make contact with the
drum.

2. Tighten the anchor pin while maintaining pressure on the lever.
3. Replace the pin if using a cotter pin.

Figure 52 — Centring the Brake Shoes

7.7.5 Replacing the cable for the hydraulic brake pin (option)

It is recommended that you replace the cable for the hydraulic brake pin if the bale carrier detached
from the tractor and the emergency valve triggered the emergency brake after an impact.

7.8 Maintaining the high-pressure filter (RBM2000)

The condition of the high-pressure filter on the bale carrier must be checked after every 50 hours of
use. The filter is underneath the frame, on the left side, behind the tongue (Figure 53).

An indicator on the filter shows the condition of the cartridge. If the indicator is green, the cartridge
can continue being used. If it is red, it must be replaced.

NOTE:

If your filter does not have an indicator, remove the filter in order to inspect
the cartridge and replace it if needed.
