9 Troubleshooting
The following table describes the most common problems you may encounter with your wrapper. It also provides
solutions for resolving them. If you do not find your problem in this table or you are not able to solve it yourself, please
contact your local distributor's customer service or our service department (see Section at the beginning of this manual
for our contact information).
Table 7 — Troubleshooting the Wrapper
Problem
Possible cause
Solution
The IG-C3 counter is not turning on.
It has no power.
Install the provided AC/DC charger
or charging cable on the unit.
The IG-C3 counter turns on, but
does not count the rotations.
There is a defective sensor or wiring
or connection problem.
Check the wiring and connections.
Replace the sensor, if needed.
The rotating table does not turn or
turns slowly.
The hydraulic oil level is too low.
Check for oil leaks or damage.
Tighten or repair it, if needed. Add
hydraulic oil to the tank.
The tractor's flow rate is too slow.
Check the tractor's flow rate (8
gpm).
Wrapping with the plastic film is not
working well.
The plastic film is breaking, being
punctured, or tearing during
wrapping.
Check whether the film roll is
damaged and replace it, if needed.
Check whether hay or something
else is obstructing or blocking the
stretcher. Clear the stretcher and
clean it.
The film is too fragile or is damaged
because it stayed in the sun too long
before being used. Install a new roll.
The film is not tight enough on the
bale.
Check whether the film roll is
installed correctly.
Check whether the stretcher
components are in good condition.
Repair them, if needed.
