SMTP PROTOCOL
LogBox Wi-Fi
is compatible with the Simple Mail Transfer Protocol (SMTP), a protocol designed to allow the sending of emails through the Internet
through an e-mail server, such as Gmail, Yahoo, etc.
LogBox Wi-Fi does not support STARTTLS encryption, i.e., it is not possible to connect to a Hotmail (Outlook) e-mail server.
This feature makes it possible to send e-mails to up to 10 previously registered recipients during alarm situations configured and specified in the
NXperience
software (see section
in the
Wi-Fi interface must be enabled for the SMTP protocol to work.
Emails sent through this protocol will contain the message configured in the SMTP tab of the
NXperience
communication tab, in addition to
pertinent information regarding the alarm situation of each defined alarm, as can be seen in the example below:

Corresponds to the recipient's e-mail, selected in the "Alarm Actions" section of each alarm
configured on the
NXperience
tab. In it, you can select up to 10 registered contacts in the
contacts’ calendar.
Each contact must first be registered in the "Recipients" section of the
NXperience
tab.
Subject: Alarm Alert
Corresponds to the e-mail title, which must be configured in the
NXperience
tab.

Corresponds to the text defined as a "Message Body" of the e-mail, which must be configured in
