Operation
System function tests
The
following
functions
are
available:
System function
Description
System
initialization
Initializes
all
drives
Tip
change
Manual
tip
replacement
procedure
Heating
test
Sets
a
defined
temperature,
for
example,
to
heat
samples
in
manual
mode
or
to
test
for
proper
heating
function
via
temperature
reading
outputs.
Collecting
Transfers
heating
magnet
module
into
collecting
position.
Leak
test
To
clean
the
silicone
membrane
and
to
check
that
the
pipetting
head
is
free
from
points
of
leakage.
First,
the
protocol
releases
tips.
Remove
tips
and
use
a
dustfree,
slightly
moistened
piece
of
cloth
to
clean
the
silicone
membrane.
After
1
minute
drying
the
silicone
membrane,
a
reservoir
with
100
ml
dye
solution
needs
to
be
placed
onto
left
car-
riage
position.
Inserting
a
new
tip
magazine
is
recommended.
Following
a
defined
volume
of
dye
solution
is
aspirated
into
the
pipette
tips.
Visual
inspection
of
the
liquid
level
is
required
after
a
period
of
30
minutes.
