Repeat the previous step for all the acti-
vated sample positions.
The buttons for saving a sample setup or
writing it to the logfile are only enabled
once all the activated sample positions
have been provided with a name! There-
fore only enable positions which are actu-
ally populated with samples!
When all the names have been entered,
the [S
AVE
]
and
[W
RITE TO LOGFILE
] buttons
become active.

Save the setup you created with [S
AVE
]
if you want to use it again in the future. To do
this, confirm the following query and enter a unique setup name via the displayed in-
put panel. Confirm this by pressing [E
NTER
] and the following dialog with [O
K
].
Note:
The folder path for the setup to be saved "\Storage Card\C16_SampleSetups" is de-
fined by the system and cannot be changed!
The set-up name is limited in length to a maximum of 32 characters.
6.
Transfer the sample setup to the logfile of the extraction run to be started with [W
RITE
TO LOGFILE
]
and confirm the following message. The sample setup tool is closed after
the data has been transferred and the extraction protocol is started.
Note:
You can also exit the sample setup tool at any time with [C
LOSE
]. In this case, an
empty setup is stored in the logfile with the information that the tool was closed with-
out any transfer of data.
Creating a sample setup via an external PC
IMPORTANT
Only users with administrator rights can upload or download sample setups between a USB
stick and the SD memory card of the HID-Pro 320.
Creating a sample setup is also possible via an external PC. In particular during the purifica-
tion of many different samples, this can be faster and more convenient than entering the
sample names via the HID-Pro 320. The setup you created can then be saved by USB stick
on the SD memory card of the HID-Pro 320 and used when the protocol is next started. Ad-
ministrator rights are needed to copy the data to the HID-Pro 320.
For orientation purposes, it is first useful to copy any sample setup that already exists on the
HID-Pro 320 to a USB stick and to edit it on the PC afterwards:
1.
Exit the start screen of the InnuPure C16 program. Press the [M
ENU
]
[E
XIT
] buttons one
after the other and enter the password. Confirm the password and the next dialog with
[OK].

Connect the USB stick.
3.
Open [M
Y
D
EVICE
]
on the WinCE desktop by means of a double-click.
4.
Open the folder "
\Storage Card\C16_SampleSetups".
5.
Mark a setup and copy it to the clipboard using the [E
DIT
]
[C
OPY
] buttons.
6.
Open the folder of the USB stick "
\Hard Disk"
