EVAL-SSM2380Z Quick Start Guide

INTRODUCTION

The SSM2380 is a fully integrated, high-efficiency Stereo Class-D Amplifier.  The EVAL-SSM2380Z is a
platform that enables system-level testing of the SSM2380 at datasheet performance levels.

The EVAL-SSM2380Z has a 3.5mm stereo analog input jack to supply input to the device.  It can be
powered via banana jack cables with a 5V supply, and has banana jacks for both outputs.  Additional
filtering components can be installed for the outputs.

The EVAL-SSM2380Z can be used in Gain Mode where no additional programming is needed, or used in
I2C Mode.  If using the SSM2380 in I2C Mode, the SigmaStudio software courtesy of Analog Devices, Inc
and a USBi Adapter Board are also necessary to send I2C control commands to the SSM2380.
