EZ-KIT Lite License Restrictions
The license shipped with the EZ-KIT Lite imposes the following
restrictions.
• Program Memory (PM) space is limited to 8K words (1/4 of the
ADSP-21992 PM space).
• No connections to simulator or emulator sessions are allowed.
Restricted Software Breakpoints
Under some conditions, breakpoints cannot effectively be placed.
Generally, the emulator or EZ-KIT Lite development system restricts
breakpoint placement when certain conditions are met. These conditions
depend on things such as bus architecture, pipeline depth, and ordering.
Software Breakpoints Within Delayed Slots
Software breakpoints within a delayed slot, such as within two instruc-
tions of a delayed branch, are restricted.
In the following example, placing a breakpoint at 100 is acceptable. How-
ever, a breakpoint’s behavior at
