The ADSP-21992 EZ-KIT Lite board has flash memory devices that can be used to store user-
specific boot code. By configuring the jumpers for EPROM boot, the board can run as a stand-
alone unit, without a PC. The ADSP-21992 EZ-KIT Lite package contains a flash programmer
utility, which allows you to program the flash memory. The flash programmer is described in
section
Additionally, the ADSP-21992 EZ-KIT Lite board provides an expansion connector that allows
you to connect to the processor’s External Memory Interface (EMI).
