90 AMX TDS (Television Delivery System)
Power Over Ethernet
Power Over Ethernet (PoE) is required for DTV-RC01-SD devices only. PoE power can be sourced either from
the network switch or from separate PoE injectors. The DTV-RC01-SD is a PoE class 2 device.
Multicast/UDP Port Settings
The TDS system uses a number of network ports for multicast and UDP communications, these port ID’s are
fixed and cannot be changed. Depending on the network, these may need to be opened.
Network Distances
All network connections should be 100m or less.
DHCP Server
TDS devices are delivered with DHCP set as default, this can be changed to static if required, but otherwise a
DHCP server is required for managing and assigning IP’s to each unit.

The DTV-MA01 must be set to a static IP address, or have the DHCP server set
up to always give it the same IP address. Automatic re-assignment of the IP
address via DHCP may cause communication issues with the TDS system. If the
DTV-MA01 is assigned a new IP address, then all TX and RX units in the system
must be rebooted.
All DTV Transmitters and Receivers must have an assigned IP Address, Network
Mask, and Gateway Address in order for the DTV system to work correctly. This
applies to units that utilize DHCP and to units that have been assigned Static IP
addresses. If you are using DHCP, verify that these address assignments are
provided by the DHCP Server.
