NetLinx Central Controller Memory – Duet Module fails to run
a.
The TDS system may use more NetLinx Controller memory than the default setting.
In Telnet type SET DUET MEM to see what has been set, and what the maximum limit is, increase
this number, but do not set this figure to the maximum allowed as this may restrict the amount of
memory available for running the Duet and associated configuration files.
Leave approximately 6M free.
8.
Can’t enter serial debug mode on a Receiver.
Ensure that the baud is set to
115k2, 8-N-1

AMX’s CC-232 Serial Communication Cable (FG10-727) is suitable for connecting to most PCs.

are rebooted or watching the progress of a tuner scanning.
To start a Telnet session, type
Telnet ‘IP-of-master’

msg on
’.
Netlinx Studio can also be used.

Restarting the DTV-MA01
If the above FAQ’s have not solved your problem, then try restarting the DTV-MA01.
Restarting the DTV-MA01 causes it to beacon out to all attached Transmitters and Receivers, these will
all then respond back to the DTV-MA01and will re-create the list of units found, including refreshing the
channel list and re-sending requests to transmitters to stream the requested channels.
Here are two easy ways to restart the DTV-MA01:
Log out of Windows. The DTV-MA01 will automatically log back in and restart the
Knopflerfish
desktop UI and the AMX-TDS bundle.
or:
Select the AMX-TDS bundle in the
Knopflerfish
desktop UI, select
Stop
on the toolbar, then select
Start
on the toolbar (see FIG. 94 on page 84).
13.
Unable to scan DVB-S channels
Verify that the LNB and 22kHx tone have been set correctly. See
Appendix C: LNB Recommendations for
Recommendations
At times it may become necessary to ‘reboot’ the Receiver, although very infrequently, therefore we
recommend that you either mount the receiver in such a way that the 12VDC POWER connector is accessible.
The only way to reboot the Receiver is to re-cycle power to the unit.
