Installation
Address Dimmers
Up to 4 ALD units can be wired to each ALD bus of an ALD-D48. Assign a unique address to each
device using the DIP switch through the front of the yoke (see FIG. 10 for switch location). See
below for the DIP switch settings. Be sure to record the addresses for future programming
purposes. This device may be placed on links with older dimmers that have software configurable
addresses.
Wiring
1. Turn power OFF at fusebox or circuit breaker.
2. Remove faceplate and faceplate adapter from control to prevent damage and to access
mounting holes. Pull from top of faceplate to remove. Unscrew faceplate adapter. Set aside.
3. Wire Control per appropriate wiring diagram using wire connectors provided. Dots on
diagrams represent wire connectors and color names refer to the wire color on the control.
