OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Install Battery:
:
Locate battery cover release button just above the hand
grip (
A
). Push red color button in to open cover. Insert 4 "D" size batter-
ies (not included). Follow battery diagram on inside bottom panel for bat-
tery direction. Close cover.
Note:
Drained batteries do not give sufficient
sound volume. Replace the batteries when red LED (
B
) will not light
when megaphone is turned on.
Remove batteries when not in use for a
long time.
Talk:
Make sure that the switch
(C)
is in the
ON
position
(Press In).
Make sure
that the
Siren/Talk (D)
button is in the
UP / TALK
position. LED
(B)
will light
when turned on.
Place mouth about one inch from microphone
(E)
and speak. To increase
volume, slide volume control lever
(F)
left to right.
If you get "feedback" when talking, you need to turn down the volume.
Siren:
To activate
Siren
, push
SIREN / TALK
button in
(D)
. Siren will be heard.
You can adjust loudness with volume control. Press button again to turn
Siren
OFF
.
