LIQUID OPTICS™ Interface Circular Label Reader

The 

LIQUID  OPTICS™ 

Interface  circular  label  reader  reads  data  from  the  circular  label  on  the

LIQUID  OPTICS™ 

Interface  packaging  and  transfers  it  to  the 

CATALYS® 

System  software  for

identification and tracking purposes. The circular label must be held flat against the label reader
on the left side of the system. Once the label has been read by the system, one treatment will be
enabled on the 

CATALYS® 

System. Laser treatment cannot be initiated until a new circular label

has been scanned.

Mobile Patient Bed or Patient Chair

The 

CATALYS®

 System can be used with either the Mobile Patient Bed or patient chair. Both the

Mobile Patient Bed and patient chair incorporate an articulating headrest, backrest, seat, and
footrest that are individually adjustable, as well as a precision movement joystick that adjusts
the bed position in three axes (x, y, and z). 

Additionally, the Mobile Patient Bed can be wirelessly connected to the 

CATALYS®

 System via

Bluetooth

  to  position  a  patient  for  Laser  Cataract  Surgery.  Once  the  laser  procedure  is

completed,  the  Mobile  Patient  Bed  can  be  rotated  out  from  under  the 

CATALYS®

  System  to

perform surgical removal of the crystalline lens and IOL installation, or the bed can be used to
transport the patient to a surgery suite. The Mobile Patient Bed is equipped with an on-board
battery that is charged from an external AC power source.
