3.6.15. Replacement of engine oil and filter
First carry out after 50 hours.
Draining engine oil
• The engine oil drain (1) is located under the chassis at the
front left.
• Place a container under the drain.
• Open the union by turning it anti-clockwise (size 27 wrench).
• The oil starts to flow out immediately.
Replacement of engine oil filter
• Loosen the filter (1) by hand or using a filter wrench.
• The oil starts to flow out immediately. It’s best to place a rag
under it beforehand.
• Replace oil filter.
• Install in accordance with instructions (see filter packaging
or filter housing).
• Screw the complete filter back in place.

Note:
• After refilling, start the engine for 2 - 3 min. Check tightness
of drain plug and filter.
• Stop the engine, wait for approx. 5 min. until oil runs down
to the engine sump. Then check the level with oil dipstick.
