The con trol le ver ser ves for ad just ment of the un ba lan ces in the
ex ci ter and in turn for co ni nu ous re gu la ti on.

The con trol le ver re mains au to ma ti cal ly in po si ti on only when set
to the ma xi mum for ward tra vel set ting (a). In any ot her po si ti on,
the con trol le ver mo ves in the di rec ti on of ma xi mum for ward tra -
vel when re lea sed.
If the con trol le ver is op er ated too quickly sev eral times, the shift
le ver will block in re verse travel. In this case:
•
Re lease le ver in for ward travel po si tion up to max i mum for -
ward travel po si tion.
•
Blo cking is clea red wit hin a few se conds and per fect shif ting is
pos si ble.
The con trol le ver can be ope ra ted only with the en gi ne run ning.
The le ver blocks if ope ra ted when the ma chi ne is sta tio na ry. Blo -
cking is im me di ate ly clea red when the en gi ne is res tar ted.

The en gi ne speed can be ad jus ted ste pless ly with the con trol le -
ver. At mi ni mum en gi ne speed (min), the dri ve to the ex ci ter is

cen tri fu gal clutch en ga ges when the con trol le ver is mo ved ap -
pro xi ma te ly
