4.5.4 Folding the boom (Profi-folding)
Folding-in/folding-out the boom on both sides
Boom folding is only possible at a forward speed of less than 3 km/h.
•
Folding-out does not always occur symmetrically.
•
Only fold the boom on a level surface.
•
Before folding, the boom must be aligned horizontally. Automatic
horizontal alignment can be set in the Profile / Boom behavior
menu.
Folding-out the boom (Profi-folding)
1. Lift booms (Super-L – maximum Super-S – at least 30
cm).

The transport lock unlocks automatically.
2. Super-S Profi2 : Angle down both boom packages into
horizontal position.
3. Unfold the boom on both sides.

Fold-out the boom completely.
4. Unlock the vibration compensation.

Switch on automatic boom ride.

Implement moves to the set height for the headlands.
→
Implement moves to the working height when spraying begins.
If necessary, save the working height beforehand.
•
Manual boom ride: manually set the height and inclination of the
boom.
